Greyhound racing took place in the Leicestershire town of Coalville at Belvoir Road with reference 1° 22' W 52° 43' N. It was one of the first in the country to host racing with its opening meeting taking place on 15th October 1927.The track operated as a flapping track outside NGRC rules. The track had a circumference of 410 metres with sprints run over 275 metres, standard races over 470 metres and distance races over 660 metres. |

| The track finally closed its gates in 1990 and a new housing estate, Stadium Close, now stands on the site of the old track. |
